Supper Thirteen

Rain and rainbows gave way to blue skies, crisp, clear Autumn air and gentle sun for Supper Thirteen. The table was set with sweet roses and teacups while the colourful menu featured pink beetroot, orange, deep red cabbage, pale pears and rich blackberries and apples. Friendly guests gathered from across the city and just streets away to share in the feast and merriment.

To welcome Hake galettes...

...and Tandoori mushrooms

To amuse Beetroot, orange, mustard.

To start Hot smoked salmon stack, beetroot, homegrown rocket, pumpkin seeds.

To follow Caraway roast pork, pear puree, mustard, onion mash, braised red cabbage.

To finish Apple and blackberry crumble, cinnamon ice cream.

  2. I and 2 friends spent a delightful evening at Charlie and Evelyn's Table and thoroughly enjoyed supper 13. All of the food was delicious and our host and hostess very welcoming.I would definitely recommend a visit for anyone who enjoys good food and interesting company.
